Producer and sound designer. Over a decade of hands-on creative work spanning composition, sound design, mixing and mastering, across personal and freelance projects.
I make house and electronic music under Obsidian Saints, and plugins under Isthmus Sound Collective.
My path into audio began at Concordia University in Montreal, studying Inter-media and Performance Arts. That meant video editing, projection mapping, small-scale robotics and audio programming in Max/MSP, with the focus landing on sound design and moving image.
I then moved to Madrid for a Masters in Audio Engineering at SAE Institute, which deepened the technical side: studio engineering, recording, microphone technique, console operation, hardware effects, and sound for film, television, podcasts and video games.
Alongside the formal study I built up a personal hardware studio of synthesizers, drum machines and outboard gear, and the practice that comes with it: synthesis, MIDI integration, signal flow, and moving cleanly between analog and digital.
That room is also where STAB came from: a track needed something specific, and nothing available did it in a single move.
