Song mode at its own length, and WAV recall.

A section plays once and hands over, so a half-bar A lasts half a bar instead of repeating to fill one. Play from the top and the song starts on A, every time. Drag the form out as MIDI or audio and both come out the same length, cut where a section ends. And every WAV STAB writes carries the stab that made it: drop one back on the window and that sound and pattern are yours again, both slots if it was a song.

Known limits
  • Tested in Ableton Live 12 on both platforms, FL Studio on Windows, Logic Pro and GarageBand on macOS. Buyers also run them in Studio One; any DAW that loads VST3 or AU should work.
  • Ableton Live needs 10.1 or newer. That is the release where Live gained VST3 support. Live 9 and early 10 read VST2 only, and STAB is not built as a VST2.
  • Patterns are one to two bars on a sixteenth grid. No triplet grids.
Questions

Is STAB a chord plugin or a preset pack?
A chord plugin that generates. STAB writes the chord, the voicing, the pattern and the effects together, every time you press SLASH. House chords, organ and piano stabs, rave chords, garage chops. Nothing is a frozen preset: lock what you like and reroll the rest.

Does STAB work in Ableton Live 11?
Yes. Live gained VST3 support in 10.1, so anything from 10.1 up loads STAB, Live 11 included. Tested in Live 12 on Mac and Windows.

Do Mac and Windows come in one purchase?
Yes. One download covers macOS (universal, notarised) and Windows, as VST3, AU and a standalone app.

Do I need an account or an internet connection?
No account. Your licence key arrives with the Gumroad receipt, the plugin checks it once online, and from then on it works offline.

Can I use the sounds in released tracks?
Yes. Everything STAB makes is yours, royalty-free, in any release.

Can STAB reload its own exports?
Yes. Drop a WAV that STAB exported back onto the window and the sound and pattern that made it come back, ready to edit (STAB 1.1.1 or newer).
