  • A much wider range of bass sounds. BITE reaches several times as many kinds of sound as before, and each style now leads with its own.
  • The BASS and STAB standalones play as a pair. STAB's tempo and PLAY drive both, and the spacebar plays and pauses.
  • Linked exports recall. A WAV exported while following STAB brings its chords back when you drop it onto BASS, with or without STAB.
  • Drag a sound between A/B and the favourites.
  • Fuller and louder from the first BITE. The weight BEEF used to add is in the sound, and BEEF is now an extra push on top.
  • Sounds open up. You hear the notes of a line without reaching for CUT.
  • CUT now opens the sounds it used to do little on.
  • Cleaner notes. Every note has a proper start and end, and nothing clips, whatever the knobs are doing.
  • Exported files have clean names.

  • WAV recall. Drop a WAV that BASS exported back onto the window and the pattern and preset that made it come back.
  • TECHNO has new grooves that drive around the kick, and more low end.
  • Fewer long held notes when you BITE, in ALL and the house styles.
  • With a loop region set, VARY only changes the notes inside it.
  • Copying A onto B flashes the slot so you can see it landed, and undo takes it back.
  • Tighter timing, and a more stable plugin all round.

  • A MIDI clip dragged out of BASS plays back into it with its slides and accents.

  • A MIDI clip on the BASS track takes over by itself, and the line comes back when the clip stops.
